Sudden loss of hearing, also known as idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss is an uncommon condition, which consists of an inexplicable hearing loss that occurs over a period of 72 hours. According to studies, this condition could increase the risk of developing mental health issues. It can lead to mood disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
