Drinking At Clubs And Concerts May Increase The Risk Of Hearing Loss    




People Tend To Exhibit A Dangerous Behavior Getting Close To Loudspeakers    




Continued exposure to high-volume sounds results in hearing loss. This happens at music concerts and clubs. However, a study showed that when drinking excessively, people tended to move closer to the loudspeakers, increasing the risk of hearing loss and tinnitus. This is known as a post-concert hearing loss. The study also reported that transient hearing loss was lower among people using earplugs, compared to those who did not use them.
