In People Born Deaf, The Brain Reassigns The Auditory Area For Other Activities    




A recent research has shown that, in the case of congenital deafness, the human brain compensates the condition by rewiring itself. This means that people born deaf do not have their auditory cortexes unused since the brain rewires itself and dedicates it to other activities. More info click here.
