Hunters Reluctant To Use Hearing Protection

Hunters Reluctant To Use Hearing Protection

The Alternative Is Electronic Devices To Block Loud Noise

Hunting requires hearing protection. Rifles can produce a sound between 140db and 175db, and tests have shown that noises over 140db can result in permanent hearing damage. On the other side, hunters insist that with hearing aids, they won’t be able to hear the sound of game but risk tinnitus or even hearing loss. Another solution is electronic amplifiers which work as a hearing aid but blocks the loud noise of a gunshot. Click here for more information.
