Hearing Loss Is Related To Aging




The Reason Is The Wear And Tear Of Hair Cells




As we age, many people start to lose hearing. This begins at the age of 50, losing 40%, and may increase to 70% at 70 years. However, since it develops gradually, it is difficult to identify, and the sufferer does not recognize it until it is evident. Age-related hearing loss is caused by the wear and tear if the hair cells, which detect pressure changes in the air, which we recognize as sound.
