A startup has designed smart glasses that not only provide a better vision but also enhance hearing for single-sided deafness, also called unilateral deafness. The glasses have a microphone that detects the sound and a microprocessor converts it to vibrations sent via bone conduction to the side of the impaired ear. It is less intrusive than a hearing aid.
