Aphasia Not Only Related To Language And Hearing – Other Brain Areas Are Involved
Aphasia is a language disorder present in stroke patients in which the areas of the brain responsible for controlling hearing have been damaged. As a result, the patient has trouble hearing, understanding spoken words, speaking and even writing. It has been considered a language deficit disorder and treated as such.
