Smoking Increases The Risk Of Hearing Loss    




It Affects Hearing Low And High-Frequency Sounds    




In a study in smokers which included 50,000 participants, researchers found that they had an increased risk of hearing loss compared to non-smokers. Also, smoking affected the hearing of high-frequency sounds more than low-frequency sounds. However, the risk of hearing loss in both types of sounds increased with cigarette smoking. Also, they found that quitting has its benefits, since the risk of hearing loss decreased after 5 years. More details click here.
