Out-Of-Body Experiences May Be Caused By A Condition In The Inner Ear

The Balance Organ Send Mixed Signals To The Brain

Vestibular disorders involve the inner ear and are specifically related to the structures that provide the brain with the sensation of balance and spatial orientation. The most common problem is dizziness and lack of balance, but it can also be a floating sensation. This has happened to patients with recurrent vertigo or with tinnitus. The floating sensation is perceived as an out-of-body experience. Patients in motion, such as driving or accelerating a car, may have these experiences because the vestibular system is sending mixed signals to their brains. More Information click here.
